I'm a dabbler. Playing Guild Wars Factions, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Team Fortress 2, IL2 Strumovik 1946, Grid and (soon to start) Mass Effect and The Ship. Having a range of games keeps everything fresh and interesting no matter how many times I go back to one of them. Having enough time to play them all...that's a challenge.

This game really is best when played with a number of friends, though you can always use Xbox Live and wrangle yourself a crew.
I'd say more, but I'm getting the urge to sing.

I would recommend this game to anyone who liked any of the other versions of Mario Kart... or really like any Mario-based games!

..When I'm too scared to play that I'm in racing games: FlatOut Ultimate Carnage or TrackMania United Forever is what I alternate between right now.
When I'm out and about (or in bed), I'll either be using the iPhone to play Bike or Die 2, Low Grav Racer, or Motion-X Poker. Those games are *addictive*.
When I'm in places where I don't want to be mugged for my iPhone, I get out the GP2x and play a bit of MAME (Elevator Action usually), or NeoGeo (Neo DriftOut), or ViceC64 (Winter Games or HERO), or ZXpectrum (City Connection.)
Later.

What video game are you currently playing?
I'm currently playing Gears of War 2. Right now I'm just playing multiplayer(Horde mode is awesome, just can't get enough of it!).. then I'm gonna probably go back through singleplayer and collect the rest of the War Journals.. Epic Games have definitely outdone themselves. Can't wait to see what other games they develop in the coming years!

• Couldn't agree more with "Having a range of games keeps everything fresh and interesting..." and "Having enough time to play them all..that's a challenge." - Now only if there was 48 hours in a day instead of 24...that would help a lot.

Rockband 2 for Xbox 360. The replay on this game is awesome. There are tons of songs to choose from, and even the ability to import songs from the first Rockband, if you've purchased it. This game really is best when played with a number of friends, though you can always use Xbox Live and wrangle yourself a crew.
I'd say more, but I'm getting the urge to sing.

I'm playing Spore which, after being released in September is the most pirated game of 2008.

I agree that Gears of War 2 is amazing. It deserves the praise that it gets. I don't know why people like Halo (online or offline). The stories are terrible, and the flat textures are amateur'ish and uninspired. I'm playing:
Little Big Planet
Fallout 3
Gears of War 2
Fable II (not Game of the Year worthy IMHO)

Unfortunately I don't have a console -- but I do have a nice computer rig. Right now I'm playing GTA:IV, Prince of Persia, and Left 4 Dead which all came out recently for the PC. I'd say Left 4 Dead is the most thrilling game out of the bunch for me. It's got some of the best co-op available. GTA:IV is fun to play in bits and pieces (not a game I'd play straight through). Same goes for Prince of Persia as it gets a bit repetitive. I also beat Fallout 3 not too long ago which was also a great experience. It is now one of my most favorite games ever. Oh and I still play Counter-Strike 1.6 from time to time.

I'm currently playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I'm a little late to the game, but I'm loving every second of it. It brings me back to when I first played Ocarina of Time all those years back. It's one of those games that remind me why I got the Wii in the first place. I hope to see more titles with this epic of scale in the future.

I can't stop playing Mario Kart Wii! I bought it about a week ago, and I'm so freakin' addicted! Unlike the older versions of Mario Kart, Mario Kart Wii has a TON of unlockable characters AND karts! To make the game even better, the Wi-Fi play is outstanding! I would recommend this game to anyone who liked any of the other versions of Mario Kart... or really like any Mario-based games!

I'm playing Left 4 Dead, as our my friends. ..seriously, isn't everyone playing that? That's another killer game from Valve that people just can't get enough of. (Online gaming will never be the same again.) ..When I'm too scared to play that I'm in racing games: FlatOut Ultimate Carnage or TrackMania United Forever is what I alternate between right now.

I just finished Mirror's Edge this weekend, and am about 10 hours into Persona 4, which is just an awesome game. Otherwise, I'm keeping up my Team Fortress 2 habit basically every other day.

Anytime I'm playing a game other than WoW, I wonder why I'm not just playing WoW. I do play a lot of other games, but slowly WoW has taken over my whole mental gamespace. The last games I liked before being completely swallowed were Battlefield Bad Company and Oblivion. But the last game I loved completely was Bioshock. I'm hoping that Mirror's Edge will pull me out.
