I'm a fan of try before you buy. I'd rent them both (or borrow from a friend) and see which one you're most eager to keep playing.

A tough decision, but I'm a big fan of Resident Evil 5's co-op play. Plus I hear Killzone's multiplayer has a bunch of annoying issues (not being able to join friends, super grindy, etc).

Depend you prefer science fiction first-person shooter or survival-horror third-person shooter? For me, I like third-person shooter. I will pick Resident Evil 5.
