1. LT = Left Trigger
2. RT = Right Trigger
3. LB = Left Bumper
4. RB = Right Bumper
5. Back
6. Start
7. LS = Left Thumbstick
8. Dpad
9. RS= Right Thumbstck
10. A, B, X, and Y

1 & 2, and 7 & 9 are sometimes both shortened to LT and RT, so there may be confusion between if LT is Left Thumbstick or Left Trigger, but it should be easy to figure out.

The guide's referring to the buttons on the xbox 360 controller, A, Left Trigger and Right Trigger. If you're playing Resident Evil 5 on the ps3, then obviously the buttons that will pop up and that you need to press during the Quick Time Events will be different, probably X and L1/2/3 and R1/2/3 (one of them).
