Well, you don't mention where you are.
Normally, Liberty Prime gets hauled out of the Pentagon(Citadel) by a crane(after you tell Sarah you are ready to go). He crosses the river via the nearby bridge destroying the force field across the bridge, heads east, then south towards the Jefferson Memorial. You just need to stay behind him and out of the way as him and the Brotherhood Knights will do all the fighting, I usually stay with Sarah, as she walks along behind. When you get to the Memorial, and thru the force fields, Sarah will say something like "lets go finish the job, or something and will head toward the Gift Shop entrance. Enter and finish the quest. I may be more help if you give your/Prime's location.

In Fallout 3 Liberty Prime just stands still and doesn't go anywhere? Any ideas how to fix the fault in the game?
