In Call of Duty: World at War, I can not get past shuri castle on okinawa?

I have tried calling in air strikes ,I get the radio ok and the flare comes on at the same time, they say 5 seconds left the flare is on the castle but no air strikes ,am I not pushing the right buttons in the right sequence or what, I have went through the the rest with not to much trouble. I was able to call in rockets when I wanted to in a section , But I don't last long enough to keep calling in shuri castle . is thee some hidden spot I can go to, to avoid all the banzi idiots. Help & thanks & Semper Fi
