I love games, but specific types, strategy, puzzle and findy seeky type games. Anyone have a favorite they want to recommend?

I seem to have gone through them all, so I need some nice new suggestions please.

One of the most original strategy games I've come across a few years back looks a bit like a 6-sided dominos, but is insanely more complicated and fun. It's called "Tantrix" (from tangled tracks) and was invented by a New Zealander. Check out tantrix.com for an online version, but the physical version is a lot of fun for up to 4 players, and can be played solo as timed puzzles.

Another cool game for 2-4 players is "Blokus" which requires you to try and place all your multi-shaped multi-sized colored tiles on a limited board space while blocking the other players from doing the same.

"Go" is an ancient Chinese strategy game for two, with an online version. This is much simpler than chess in how it looks, but the strategies are so complex that it takes 100 hours to just start understanding the game and a lifetime to master it.

"Taki" is an Israeli version of Uno, which is a combination luck/strategy card game. Taki is more interesting than Uno because they added a few neat action cards.

Go have fun :).

Go is interesting - last I heard they couldn't make a computer that could beat a grandmaster AND an 8 year old beginner.

There are some good flash puzzle games out there, these are a few I've come back to many times:
Insaniquarium
Bermuda Escape
Office Escape Game or a lot of games on this GameDesign website.
If you don't already have an account with Pogo, get one!

That should take care of you for a few days. :)
