I heard they were splitting up Barrens into multiple sections. And Badlands are going to be very different since Deephome is springing up in there.
As for Gilneas and Twilight Highlands, I think its safe to assume those are the new starting areas for Goblins and Worgen respectively.
Hyjal, Deephome Sunken City, Lost Isles, and Uldum will be the new zones to explore and that will be very awesome to see!!!
It's going to shake things up for sure, changing the old continents. It will most likely change the old continents for the better! Can't wait!!

How do you think the change in landscape on the old continents will work after the World of Warcraft cataclysm release?
Do you think it will change for all levels all players, or do you believe it will be like the new quests in Icestorm where the scene changes after you have completed quests.
We are discussing this at work and were wondering if anyone else has given this any thought.

I am excited too. I just wonder if new people will see the new split areas and changes when they start. Or do you think the look of the land will be only changed to the 80's view after quests?

I think the lands will be forever changed... but I also think they are going to utilize phasing a lot more in this expansion... like when you completed that quest in LK and the zone's battleground and city changed
