Pump the clutch and release the throttle. Also, according to forum posts it seems that keeping the stock parts is important (I guess cuz they're lower quality?).
Also, pulling off a successful drift depends on the car you use. Some cars are made for handling corners well and have a better grip on the road. Try using a large older car.

I think the key is tapping the handbrake just as you are going into the curve. Pump the clutch and release the throttle. Also, according to forum posts it seems that keeping the stock parts is important (I guess cuz they're lower quality?).
