In Mirrors Edge Walkthrough how do I perform the backward jump?

Not sure which platform you're playing this on.
Check out the IGN game guide. It provides information on how to perform different moves.

I hope this is helpful. Also, if you're finding it hard time doing something, you might wanna try remapping the controls to different buttons to find something more easy for you.
