how and where can i download pokemon games for free?

the sapphire and ruby ones, from the net and playable on my pc

You need an emulator which is a program that acts like a gameboy advance, and a rom file, which is a file that acts like the game cartridge.

An emulator which is legal can be downloaded here:

The legality of doing this is controversial, but don't worry, using these links puts you in no legal danger.

Note: The rom files are contained within zip files, and need to be extracted using a program like winrar.

Not that we should condone this sort of behavior but I would think the easiest way would be to get an emulator for a games system and find downloads of games on torrent sites like mininova.org

I don't play the games my self so I don't know what ones to get, or what games emulator to get. My computer is for work and net. I have a Wii and an Amiga for games.

For old console games (Gameboy, Nintendo64) you need an "emulator" (those are free) with the "rom" for the games (not legally free and hard to find). Use Google to find more info on emulators and where to get them. As for the roms... you'll have to use sites and applications that specializes in illegal downloads... like the torrent site "piratebay.org" or p2p software like Ares, eDonkey, Limewire, etc.
