How do you get friends on animal crossing?

I have AC city folk and I need more friends. Currently we have a Nookington's in our town as well as the following fruits: coconuts, oranges, apples and pears. Is there anyone out there who has the peaches and cherries?Also looking for robo floor / Mario wall paper.

You will have to post your Animal Crossing friend codes, you get this by going and talking to the dog on the right at your gates, forget his name right now, anyway he will give you your code, then you all need to add each other, then you can visit each other and swap any items and fruit.

I will post my code here later. Don't play the game too much but will add anyone who want's too.
