Crysis 2 may be good, but as stated above it is very lacking. There is no chance it will take the crown from Halo. Halo will be on top for quite a while, and is maintaining its position by bringing out by releasing more and more branchs.
That would be like saying Battlestar Galatica is going to take the crown away from Star wars = P
IMO Halo is on top and will be till a MUCH better, more furfilling series comes out then.. Crysis..

In all reality nothing can take away from a game that had the entire world in anticipation over it. Games that come after Halo will always be speculated as the "Halo Killer." It is quite possible that a game can take its crown, it just has to have great publicity, something that Crysis 2 is lacking. All in all, Halo is just a game. It took the crown from Quake that took it from Doom, there will always be a game to one-up the next. But in my personal opinion the game to one-up Halo is not Crysis 2.
In my opinion, I do not think so. Crysis tends to have to run on very expensive hardware, which limits the amount of people who can enjoy it. Also, I think that Halo's story is more in-depth, and its multiplayer in its games is also well-fleshed out, adding to its replay value.
In my opinion no. I actually hate Halo, but with it fan base Halo will probably will never fall.
