As for Resident Evil 5, I'm afraid it uses Games for Windows Live to administer the savegames, which means that it is tied with your Games for Windows/Xbox Live account (either offline or online profiles). Even if you get your savegame, it won't work on its own without the Games for Windows data file, which I'm afraid I don't know where it is stored. However, you will probably find the Resident Evil 5 savegame (without the GFWL data) in:
"/My Documents/CAPCOM/Resident Evil 5//" (Vista or 7)
"/My Documents/CAPCOM/Resident Evil 5//" (XP)
Hope that helps.

My best advice to you would be to find a walkthrough, I highly reccommend checking this site for one...and doin' a ctrl f and search dfor the word save or save location, that way you aren't necessarily cheating, but trying to find a way to save your game, not over heat everything and not sit in front of the tv for 20-30 hours or more. :) Good luck!

For Warhammer 4000: Dawn of War II, you'll find your savegames in the following folder: "/documents/my games/dawn of war 2/saved games" (Vista or 7)
"My Documents/my games/dawn of war 2/saved games" (XP)
