I did a search of EA's support forum and there's not much help there.
Try reinstalling your game. But first manually uninstall everything about the game from your system. That means deleting the save files in your "My Documents" folder and completely delete the Battlefield 2 folder in your "Program Files" folder. Empty the recycle bin and, if you have a registry cleaner, run that too. Restart your computer and then reinstall. Make sure to install the latest patches.
If that doesn't work, contact EA directly. Look in your game manual for a support phone number. Or go to http://support.ea.com and click on "Email us" on the left. Seems like they take a longer time to reply by email though.
Also, at the bottom of this thread is a post that offers another solution. It involves editing your registry, so if you're not comfortable with that, don't try it.
