There are three metro stations within 15 miles of Columbia, MD. So, you should take the metro from Dupont to MD. and take a cab the rest of the way.

What's the best way to get from near Dupont Circle in Washington DC to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD on a Sunday evening?
I'm going to be in DC in a couple of weekends and I want to go to a concert in Columbia, MD (Meriweather Post Pavilion) the Sunday I arrive. I'm going to be riding public transportation (subway, bus) throughout the week, so I won't have a car. There is a commuter bus (Maryland MTA route 929) that runs from exactly where I need to go and back, but it's only Mon - Friday and I don't think it runs in the evening. The concert is at 7:30PM.
What's going to be the best way to get there and back?
