Cades Cove Is Not In Vermont
Cades Cove is a 6,800 -acre valley near Townsend. It is located in the smoky mountains of Tennessee

Corn was the chief crop.

Yes they can survive without modern conveniences.Many Amish people in America still do not use modern conveniences.

I was really wondering if you would do well without the modern conveniences. I realized this town was in Tennessee. I have been there and toured it.
I would like to think I could have thrived without the modern things, but I would sure miss my computer.
