Usain Bolt?

Everyone keeps talking about how good Bolt would be or atleast how fast he would be as a wide out in the NFL. I think he would be crushed personally.
But what about baseball? Do you think he could break Ricky Henderson Base Stealing Record 130 in 1982?
Or should he just stick to running?

He should just run. There is much more to basestealing that just running, there is technique, reading the pitcher's move to the base, getting the proper jump. What would he do, just be a pinch runner every game ? No team would have a roster spot open just for that. As for football, does he know how to run pass routes? What are his hands like? Can he handle the punishment defensive players will dish out? He can't just run a fly pattern every time, the defenses are too good for that to work. He needs to stick to track and doing what he does best.

He should stick to running. He probably never even played baseball of football in high school or anything if he is always been a track star

He should stick to what he knows. Athletes are not always able to translate their talent across sports. It would ultimately serve only as a distraction from his training as a sprinter.

BOLT BY NAME BOLT BY NATURE USAIN BOLT CALLING
PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND MY ANSWER

"A calling, in the religious sense of the word, is a religious vocation (which comes from the Latin for "call") that may be professional or voluntary and, idiosyncratic to different religions, may come from another person, from a divine messenger, or from within oneself. The idea of a vocation or "calling" has been pivotal within Protestantism. Martin Luther taught that each individual was expected to fulfill his God-appointed task in everyday life. Although the Lutheran concept of the calling emphasized vocation, there was no particular emphasis on labor beyond what was required for one's daily bread. Calvinism transformed the idea of the calling by emphasizing relentless, disciplined labor"

from these statements we can can gather sprinting(athletics) is Usain Bolt calling. not baseball not basketball not soccer not hockey and definitely not a NFL running back. there is no doubt that he is if not the most talented sprinter or all time. no other(sprinter) can even fathom doing what he has accomplish. for the past couple years Mr.Bolt devoted his life to becoming a sprinting supremo and is not reaping the fruits of his hard labour. it would not make any sense for him to compete in another sport that would have so many things that can determine his success or failure of the sport. Mr.Bolt name will be etched in history for ever "Bolt by name Bolt by nature"

Can he hit? There's a question. Personally I think he should just stick to running as well. Personally I think he is too cocky and would be killed on the field. I don't see many fights on the track. But he is fast... I think Wallace Spearmon will give him a run for his money eventually though.
