yes and no, the woes that Obama inherited absolutely, as far as deficits go, the ongoing wars, the loss of jobs, the declining dollar, I would love to see the Japanese go through what we have went through and we will see how much of their products are sold here after awhile, what will happen is a car will take longer to redesign models will be canceled, as it is there is already no replacement for the FJ Cruiser or Nissan Titan, if the dollar can manage to stay weak against those currencies it means that less wealth will flow out of this country, all we get are the deficits, the only accident I ever had was because a woman's Rav4 stalled on the freeway, and I saw this same thing with someone else in Long Beach, (power just went out? how is that possible in a Toyota) we have literally trillions in debt because of imported products which are not always necessary.
I think we will have to wait to see how the middle east situation plays out, but I would like to get away from Arab oil.
I think of lot of the assault on the U.S. manufacturing base has to do with appeasing certain countries and either liberals hating American companies or Conservatives hating the average worker.

Americans have always thrived on adversity and the situation the USA is in at the moment is an oppurtunity rich environment.
Our history proves our resilence and will again.
I believe the fact that the USA airs its problems openly has a tendency to scare many other nations of the world, as their watch to see what direction the USA takes that may directly affect them.
Americans are pioneers, always have been, always will be and problems are only oppurtunities that have not been solved yet.
The USA is a great nation that, like other great nations has to periodically adjust to growing pains and change.
Personally I am not the least bit scared about our future, I have faith in the American spirit and know it shall prevail.
Concern, of course i have concern at the present time as do the majority of my fellow citizens, but those concerns are what we as a nation are confronting now and are in the process of adjustments for the betterment of the nation and the betterment of the world at large.

I dont think this question was directly about Bush, really you are talking the war in Iraq because if you go back to before 9/11 the Democrats wanted to do something so much earlier, why they are balking at Obama sending in more troops or not being called out on it is anyone's guess.
