As Secretary of State, he effectively wrote the Monroe Doctrine. At the time he said that the US "goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy" and fostered an extreme isolationist foreign policy.
Mr. Adams, under what, if any, circumstances would you consider allowing the US to go abroad to destroy monsters? Would you support the "War on Terror"? Would you support American involvement in World War II in Europe?

John Quincy Adams was the 6th President of the United States. What question would you have liked to ask him?
He was probably the person with the most foreign diplomatic experience in the entire US at that time.
