Zack Hudson is a big fan of porn star Stormy Daniels so he wants Stormy Daniels to be run against Republican senator David Vitter who was implicated in the Washington Madame prostitution scandal. It makes a bit of a joke about Vitter's bid for reelection.

Many voters in Louisiana have been calling for Vitter's resignation because of scandal. Others just don't like his politics, which have come to the fore during the debate on the President's economic package. Vitter is against it while most voters are for it.
But, how to get rid of an incumbent? The Democrats don't have anyone strong or well-financed waiting to run. The Greens, Libertarians, and Reform never get many votes.

There is a certain logic to drafting a political newcomer who can get a lot of media exposure for free. Whether it will happen or whether it will work remains to be seen. I gave my analysis of that while answering another question.

Given the current field, I'll be voting for her.

I've learned to never accept at face value ANYTHING in politics. My first question would be; who is Zack Hudson (other than "a fan") and what is his real motivation? While it might appear that this stunt is meant to remind voters of Palfrey and Wendy (not the wife, the OTHER Wendy...) it could also easily be a ruse to help make Vitter look like he is being unfairly attacked....and is the real "victim."

For instance, the logical reply would be, "I've made mistakes in the past. My family and I have moved on. As I've shown in Washington, I'm a serious Senator working for the people of Louisiana...."

So, find out who Hudson is and what money is behind him...and then you might have your answer...
