Best hotel for Sundance Film Festival?

I'm going to be staying in Park City for a week at the Sundance Film Festival. What are the best hotels to stay in that are close to Main Street?

What hotels are available?

Screenshots of results on booking services are helpful.

Look to stay January 18th to 23rd (could stay to the 24th or 25th if need be).

I would not recommend a bed and breakfast, as it's not as exciting as a hotel where all the action is, although the Washington School Inn looks nice. I found a list of hotels here: http://www.sundance.org/festival/festival_info/lodging.asp

However, some of the very best hotels seem to be sold out by now. Maybe if you had the Black American Express Card, you can simply have them book something for you.

My personal preference would probably be the Park City Marriott, so maybe you can figure out a way to reserve it.

Here are some links to great hotels:

I would have to recommend couchsurfing.com.

This way you will get to stay with a local who knows the area very well, knows how to get around, where to eat, who to hang out with.

look up keldwud's profile on couchsurfing.com I heard a rumor that he has room available during Sundance.

I guess I should also mention here that if you are finding that all the Park City hotels are bust, it does not hurt to look into hotels in downtown SLC. There are many events that take place in SLC theater during the festival. Maybe look into the Chase Suite Hotel By Woodfin.

Or look into the City Center Marriott (not the 'downtown') or the Hilton.

What kind of hotel are you looking for? If you would like some more information, feel free to private message me and I will put some more work into it, tip or no tip. I am very familiar with all the hotels in Salt Lake City because I drove a cab. It would not take me more than thirty minutes or so of initial research to produce some results with actual numbers concerning availability and cost.

Oh, and why Sundance and not Slamdance? I would think that a hip cat like yourself, all cutting edge and early adopting and such, would be attending something more along the lines of Slamdance instead of the 'well known' film festival. ;)
