Hi supersweet! So you're thinking of trying out thongs, eh? Well, while thongs can be uncomfortable they occasionally come in handy by minimizing panty-lines when you're wearing a skirt, dress or tight pants.
1. Yes, the string can feel like an all-day wedgie, but if you're lucky it won't go fully up your butt crack.
2. How long it will take you to get used to the thong depends on how often you wear it and how much it bugs or annoys you personally.
3. The choice between a thong or g-string is really personal preference. Thongs have a small, triangle-like piece of fabric in the back that tapers down to a string. A g-string is just that...a string. It's up to you to decide which one is more comfortable for you.
4. As far as materials go...you can't beat cotton for comfort when it comes to underwear. But if you're looking for something a little sexier than cotton you might think of trying a satin thong or a silky blended-type fabric.
Good luck!!!

Never worn a thong but I want to try it.
Hi I'm sixteen and I've never worn a thong because I've heard they're like a wedgie all day and it can be annoying but I want to try them out and have a few questions first:
1. Does the string in the back go fully up your butt crack so you have a wedgie all day?
2. About how long does it take to get used to it
3. Is it easier to wear a thong or a g string when you just start
4. Are there certain materials I should look for when I just start out wearing them.
Thanks for answering.

Thongs - aka butt floss. What's the point with a thong? It doesn't serve a purpose other than to be very uncomfortable. Underpants have a purpose - and they usually have enough fabric to do their job. But thongs are just an overrated, over-marketed & way overpriced gimmick. More like a gag gift than a practical piece of clothing.
