Under the new "Right of Conscience" HHS rule, can I be reimbursed by medicare for my faith healing practice?
In my new faith healing practice, I can care for any illness by offering prayers, laying on hands, and otherwise performing the faith based healing procedure of my patient's choice. I can even perform abortions using this same technique. For those procedures that are customarily reimbursed by medicare and other insurance companies, do I have the right to request said reimbursement?
