Yet at the same time that same article states that if he could do it as the commercial is trying to make you believe... on the spur of the moment and not planned, then soccer would be more popular in America than it currently is.
Maybe it's real, and Mike just worked hard at... and maybe he had some editing help. Regardless, the end result is millions of hits and money for Pepsi. It's always about the end result. He IS a great player!

M$No, really. The can of Pepsi and the ball have a different ambient light, a computer generated hue if you like. If you work with this stuff every day you get to notice the difference. Watch the video again and see how light reflects differently off the ball and the can.
Mind you, even adding a bit of graphics, I think Beckham can really do the trick. I think they might have changed a frame or two or.... more :) but even so, a cool video!
