The only reason this is called a Death Panel, however, is because that's the buzzword of the time. The writer wants a higher click count and is using popular search terms to boost his ratings.
There is nothing Medical about this act the presidency can do, and there is not a congregation of people coming together to decide if someone lives or dies, as the anti-reform debaters would have you believe.

This is an interesting policy that has been in the lawbooks for quite some time now (7+ years). It definitely should be repealed, not just reworded, because the government already has enough power over whether we as a group live or die. They don't need to decide on an individual basis. The only reason this is called a Death Panel, however, is because that's the buzzword of the time. The writer wants a higher click count and is using popular search terms to boost his ratings.
