Nope! Government is there for a good purpose, and has slightly decayed to worse things. But without government, we'd have to farm our own food, pump our own water, worry about travelling bandits.. we could never get anything done.
Politicians have developed a system to get these things done, although inefficiently. Eventually smart people research and figure out how the system decayed, and have it fixed. Then the politicians find a new tactic, and the cycle repeats.
It's inevitable, a part of the life we live.
