Twitter accounts of famous poker players? Are there any (Negreanu, Hellmuth, etc.)?

They would be great for tournament updates!
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Check out http://www.twtpoker.com, I use this site to follow most of the pros that are on twitter without having to search for them on my own on twitter.

I am a tournament poker reporter (@ BJNemeth), and Twitter has really taken off among the professional poker players over the last two months. It should be huge during the 2009 WSOP, which starts at the end of May.

There is a twitter account called @ FollowPoker that exists solely to follow professional poker players and others in the poker industry. It is updated fairly frequently by Jay Newnum (@ WhoJedi) Check out the list of Twitterers that account is following:

http://twitter.com/FollowPoker/friends

A few of the most famous players:

Phil Hellmuth: @ Phil_Hellmuth
Phil Ivey: @ PhilIvey
Doyle Brunson: @ TexDolly
Daniel Negreanu: @ RealKidPoker
Barry Greenstein: @ BarryGreenstein
Annie Duke: @ RealAnnieDuke
Andy Bloch: @ Andy_Bloch
Howard Lederer: @ HowardHLederer
Gavin Smith: @ OleGSmith
Joe Sebok: @ JoeSebok

For official twitter updates during major tournaments:

World Poker Tour: @ WPTLiveUpdates
World Series of Poker: @ WSOPLiveUpdates
European Poker Tour: @ PokerStarsBlog

www.pokertwitter.com It had to come sooner or later!

The official poker site for poker pros using Poker Twitter.

No need to use the regular Twitter for poker fans any more...too easy to drown there!

Well I'm not much of a Twitterer, but a simple people Search on the site gives us two different accounts for Hellmuth...not sure which is the real one.

And then check out the site Twitter Your Poker...they seem to have a really good grasp on the poker world and how Twitter might apply to it.
