Do you still keep the manual or the receipt? I believe the model number is stated in these documents. Or you can identify your model with any website selling Sharp Aquos TV, such as the website below or LCD TV brochure as the link below.

I found a website that stated this:

"Find your product model, . Your product's model number can be found on the front face of the product or on the serial number tag found on the side or back of the machine."

The website is full of ads, so be careful where you click, but you can find and download your user manual so that you have more information.

I've read that particular remote can be take up to an hour to program, but is well worth the trouble! Good luck!

The model number and serial number is usually accessible via the service menu.

Be very careful with the service menu as it is supposed to be for the Sharp technician only. It may cause your TV inoperable.

From AVS Forum:
* ..While the LCD is on, unplug the power cable
* ..Then while holding the " INPUT " and " VOLUME (-) buttons ON THE TV (not remote) down, replug the cable in.
* ..When it powers up you will see a little "k" appear in brackets.
* ..Then on the set, press and hold the " VOL (-) " and " CH (-) (buttons on remote NOT on the TV) down and release
* ..The service menu appears on.
* ..Turn the set off to exit the Service Menu.
