Why do all muppets seem to play guitar left handed?

Most Muppets are left-handed as the puppeteer uses his right hand to operate the head while operating the arm rod with his left hand. There are many other common designs and means of operation. In advanced Muppets, several puppeteers may control a single character; the performer who controls the mouth usually provides the voice for the character.

Most muppets wind up being left-handed as the puppeteer uses his right hand to operate the head while operating the arm rod with his left hand. So for the ease and intricacy operations of the guitar becomes played on the left.

This is true, and alot of the muppets you see are actually operated by multiple people. Some require 2 hands to work the head and another person for the arms.

Jim Henson (Lefty) did the naughty with Ms Piggy (Sorry Kermit) and passed the trait to all of his furry offspring. On a similiar subject, now that Jim's gone, why doesn't Ms Piggy limp anymore?

All muppets aspire to be Rory Gallagher. Unfortunately their too furry fingers make copying Rory's incendiary style too difficult so they settle for trying to be Jimi Hendrix
