I've been rooting for Bob since he stopped kind of just being there and began to actually play the game. I saw where he said in an interview that he'd been playing since before the game started, when they arrived at the hotel, trying to make friends for potential alliances. Maybe so, but we didn't see any strategic thinking for quite a bit of the game. He really came through at the end, winning challenges, manufacturing immunity idols, and working whatever angle he could find. To come so close to getting booted and to survive to the final 3 was a feat. I think he deserved the win.
I have some respect for Sugar and her game play but toward the end she was playing to help Matty or Bob win, not herself. That's very altruistic and all but you don't get a million dollars doing that and it's right that she didn't. I wish she had won fan favorite. I think she deserved some recognition, for using the idol intelligently and for some good thinking that resulted in wonderful blind sides. I also admire her for being willing to force a tie for final 3.
I still can't figure out why Susie-Under-The-Radar got so many votes. Her only strategic move was not to build her house of cards any higher than she did and she almost blew that. A nice person but not a great player.

By comparison, Bob's most strategic moment of crafting a fake idol really wasn't put to good use until Sugar came along. Granted, you could argue that Randy would've been voted out anyways, but Sugar's idea put the other alliance at rest with their plan so they didn't try to pursue anything else. From Randy on, Sugar was paramount in voting off the remaining competitors.
Bob and Susie, while nice people and competent (certainly Bob), were merely along for the ride when it came to strategy.

I have been gunning for Bob most of the game. The guy is crazy, and I'm pretty sure he could kick my butt. The only thing that confused me was how he had so much trouble with the tower building challenge that Susie ended u p winning. I mean, come on, you are a physics teacher. Oh well, worked out in the end.

Sugar should've won Survivor. Of the 3 remaining finalists, I believe she played the game the best. Granted, her physical game couldn't compete with Bob or Matty, but I think she played the most strategic game. She found the hidden immunity idol early on and really used it the it should be used (not to actually get immunity at tribal council, but as a tool to influence others). I was actually quite surprised by how she well she did this. She did it in a way that wasn't overt (except for the Randy vote) and thus didn't put herself up as a target. The fact that she never received a single vote a tribal council is pretty telling. By comparison, Bob's most strategic moment of crafting a fake idol really wasn't put to good use until Sugar came along. Kenny should have won. He had the game in his grasp and lost it when he voted against Matty when Bob said about the fake idol. The stupid thing is that even if they had the idol, if Bob and Corrine had of voted for Matty and Kenny and Crystal had still voted for Corrine, if Corrine had of played the idol, Matty still would have been out and they still would have had the numbers (4-2). Just goes to show that being in the game is a whole different world then watching it from home!
