I am not crazy about this one. First mistake in advertising is that they seem to be comparing the car to others, including a 1979 Mercedes. What's the point? Why would anyone want to see a 2009 Audi is better than a 1979 Mercedes? Second, the commercial is too long. Personally, I believe any commercial over 30 seconds that does not get my attention quickly, is going to lose me even faster. I'm sure the Audi A6 is a great vehicle, yet they aren't positioning the car right or up against the right competitor. Odds are, people might even buy a Mercedes or a BMW after seeing this commercial. Why compare them to 2 other cars that are not even in production? To falsely make me believe this is a movie is like a form of trickery in advertising. I see more "the chase" than the actual product or brand I'm being advertised. Not crazy about it, but it's somewhat interesting, enough to catch me off guard.

Statham was the only good thing about the commercial. The A6... not so memorable.

I can't say it was my favorite Super Bowl ad but I think I understand where they are coming from. I don't think they are trying to compare the Audi to the other cars (Mercedes, BMW, Lexus) I think they are saying that every decade has it's "it" car and today's is the Audi.

Two words: Jason Statham. That is the only thing I loved about the commercial. I was hoping for it to be action packed, like every Jason Statham film ever made, but it was actually kind of boring. I didn't get the sense of excitement they promoted in the press about the ad itself. Statham was the only good thing about the commercial. The A6... not so memorable.
