Do you think the second season of ''Flight of the Conchords'' is as good as the first season?

At the moment, we cannot say whether the entire season two is funnier than season one. That being said, I throughly enjoyed the second episode of the second season, New Cup, and think that the songs were right on par with the first season despite less time for writing. I saw the first episode of the second season merely as a device used to return the characters to the same status they had during the first season. That episode seemed a little lackluster. The third and most recent episode featured the secondary characters more prominently allowing them to sing during one of the songs. Season two's themes included selling out, prostitution, and gang violence.

So far, I am enjoying the second season as much as the first and anyone who is familiar with the Flight of the Conchords will enjoy it as well.

I've only seen a couple episodes, but I think overall it's just as funny. The song quality is a little down -- it's just like when a new band has years to write their debut album and just a couple months to write their second one, I think they were a little rushed in coming up with tunes to go along with the new plot points. But it's still a great show and of course I'll watch the entire second season...and the third, if there is one.

Personally, I think it is funnier although a little sillier and the music quality has seriously decreased (I agree fully with deanmachine777). But as far as I'm concerned more Murray = funnier, and so far they have delivered on that.
