Too soon to say, I think. It depends on the motive of the shooter. Right now, I'm leaning toward someone losing his sanity and trying to commit suicide by cop/military rather than face service in Afghanistan.

There have been several shootings lately (and more than one act of strange, random violence like the one at CSU Sacramento). The only confirmed ways this one differs is religion of shooter and site of shooting. I'm loath to start condemning all mass shootings as "terrorist" in nature until confirmed. People are under enormous pressure right now, and I think the most fragile people are breaking.

Terribly sad, no matter what we call it.
