trying to relocate where are the bet places to live that are kid friendly and pocket friendly?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I did a search on this question and here is what i got back. new England especially Maine is the best place to raise children.http://www.cnn.com/US/9907/27/top.kid.states/index.html. This site offers you to pick on a state and read the results of which ones are best and which ones are not.
I also read that Texas is a very good state for raising children. They have several activities for children as well as adults. The cost of living is not that bad either. Here is a site about Texas for you to view and judge for yourself. http://vacation.away.com/texas/travel-v1-cid761-texas-cid350262-family-vacations.html?utm_source=Yahoo&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=texas%252Bfor%252Bkids&utm_campaign=Family&OVRAW=texas%2520for%2520kids&OVKEY=texas%2520for%2520kid&OVMTC=standard&OVADID=18880375021&OVKWID=177963790021. The site includes horse back riding, camping, paddle boats and much. much more.

I'm originally from New York. There are a lot of nice places to live there - especially upstate - that are relatively inexpensive. I'd look for someplace in the country. I hear properties around Syracuse and Albany are pretty inexpensive.
