I would look at the manual that came with the vehical to see what they say first.
If you don't have the manual i would call a mechanic and see what they reccommend even if you don't plan on going to them. They would know better then most how long you should go.
But other then that, it really depends on what kind of oil you are using, the blands let you go a little longer inbetween oil changes. Normally they say 3000 miles for an oil change but with some blends you can go up to 7500 before you need one. Fuel Filters should be changed every 7500 to 10000.
