What are Dekotora trucks ?
The Decotora or Dekotora is an abbreviation for "Decoration Truck" - a kind of loudly decorated and illuminated truck which one can see in Japan. Dekotora owners use various art designs based on traditional landscapes, manga or gundam characters or kabuki actors along with computer controlled neon lights for decorating their trucks.

Deko-tara -short abbreviation for Decoration Trucks.These mean looking machines are usually for display on special events where each Dekotara owner would showcase their masterpiece. These trucks are often made for fun by their drivers or made to be used as art trucks at special events.
