Anyone using Google docs? Anyone having problems with it, using Firefox?

When it saves, the cursor no longer works. I have to click on the page again. It has been saving duplicate parts, usually after telling me that I have been logged out (even though the doc is still there), so that I have to find the extra parts and delete them. Google clipboard will not work. I get a message that says that I have to use my browser clipboard.

I would try to use google chrome. you don't have to use it as your main browser, but only to host web apps. When you install it, go to docs, and click the page with the ear fold in the upper right hand corner of chrome. Click "Create Application Shortcut". This should also enable google gears.

Hope this helps, certainly works for me :)

• Great idea. I started using chrome for all my google stuff. I use firefox for the rest.

Good idea. I have too many tabs open in Firefox anyway.

Perhaps you are using a plugin or addon for Firefox that is interfering? I've found Yahoo's toolbar to do all sorts of weird things to Firefox, including disabling right-clicking, etc. Try working with Google Docs with addons temporarily disabled to eliminate them as a potential problem vector.

I had a similar problem a while ago. However, my solution at the time was to uninstall and upgrade to the newest version of Firefox. If this doesn't work, I'd purge all of your cached data, make sure all of your Java options are on, disable add-ons, and disable any popup blockers. Hope this helps.

Am I understanding you right? You solved the problem by uninstalling Firefox and upgrading? How did that affect your add-ons and extensions?
