Here is a good website that shows you lots of the info you want on Raleigh.

Also I would recommend some of the museums in Raleigh because there are a lot of gr8 ones.

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences http://naturalsciences.org/

Regular Hours:

Monday-Saturday: 9 am-5 pm
Sunday: Noon-5 pm

Admission is free but certain special exhibits will have a cost.
