"The mile long stretch on Wilshire Boulevard between Fairfax and La Brea Avenues received its name in the 1920's. During this time it was settled and inhabited by Jewish Immigrants who founded the banking industry on the Mile and worked financing miracles. Later, the Tar Pits were discovered and archeologists hit the mother load of intact skeletal remains including Saber Tooth Tigers, wolves and even a human being. Excavation is still ongoing and can be viewed at the museum. Kids absolutely love visiting the Tar Pits and there are several family friendly restaurants on the Mile."

Because Miracle Mile is the perfect venue due to experience culture, history and night life in Los Angeles and to provide a day of fun and a night of exciting entertainment. Miracle Mile is also home to many well known companies including Spelling Productions, Variety Magazine, E! Entertainment Television and The Screen Actors Guild. Keep you're eyes open. You just might see a star.
