Gotta be the Rhine River Cruise through Germany. The scenery is all filled with mysterious castles, and the food along the way is fabulous. Of course it helps to have some Germanic background to spark an interest, but it is fun, easy going, down to earth and I always felt like I could swim the river if things went wrong. Also, lots of dogs along the way that seem to know they will be given treats from the "boat people". Again, you have to like dogs for this to make any sense. This is not a "tradional" cruise but well worth jumping off the "beaten boat channels."

One of the benefits of having a cruise ship job is that it enables you to travel the world in a luxury cruise for free. I have been to several places and I have to say that one of my favorites is Alaska... Surely next would be Mexico.
