Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. I have been to both and they are the best vacations I have every been on. It is beautiful, the weather is perfect in the summer months, and the food is amazing especially the sea food.
On Victoria Island I toured two beautiful castles and I will never forget it. Butchardt Gardens is a MUST in Victoria - they have the largest gardens in the world. It is just breathtaking. We also did underwater gardens in downtown Victoria. The pubs there are amazing.
In Vancouver Granville Island has a ton of boutiques and specialty stores, unique restaurants like Bridges that overlooks the harbor, they have the biggest and best farmer's market I have ever seen. There is so much to do and see there.
I even blogged about our adventures there with gorgeous pictures. Take a look.

Each city has different tourist attractions from night life to entertainment. I wouldn't be able to tell you what to do, as there is so much, and I'm not sure what you're interested in doing. I'm sure you would like to visit Niagara Falls.

My choices would be Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria B.C. The mountains, the ocean and the views are amazing. If you enjoy hiking and the great outdoors, you will love this area. The Grouse Mountain Gondola is fantastic and a great hike up or down. Vancouver Island is spectacular, with beautiful Long Beaches and very few people. I live 50km from Toronto and find it unfriendly and boring. There is the CN Tower and Toronto Island but the only scenic area is the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail which make for great day trips. Personally I would love to see P.E.I. and Nova Scotia again. Wonderful people. Typically, any large city in Canada is worth a visit and will not let you down. You really can't go wrong. Enjoy!

Don`t overlook Montreal. It is Canada`s second largest city, and often referred to as the "Paris of North America". Due to the French influence and ancient architecture, there is definitely a European feel to it. Throughout the summer there are various world class festivals, including the Jazz Festival, Comedy festival (Just for Laughs), African music festival, and one of the worlds largest Asian film festivals. There are many interesting areas in Montreal, such as Old Montreal, the Old Port, Little Italy, The Gay Village, and Mount Royal - a large mountain park in the center of the city with the infamous Tam Tams drum festival held every Sunday in the summer. In my experience, Montreal is the best city to visit for an overall experience, especially if you are able to visit only one city in Canada.
