According to http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1083.html, as of 2005, Praia international airport has international flights. According to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/africa/cape-verde/travel.htm "AmÃlcar Cabral International Airport - (Santa Maria, Sal airport code: SID) on Sal, 2km (1 mile) south of Espargos." Though there are other airports, they don't have runways long enough for jets.

Then consider other airlines, as well as the other int'l airport. Otherwise, you may need to check for indirect flights (i.e. ones with a stop on the way).
