Take her down to the beach at lake Michigan, Bradford beach or doctors park will do and watch the submarine races, Festa Italiana will be going at that time, it the largest Italian fest in the United States so you know they will have good food. The Milwaukee county zoo is one of the better zoos in America and there is a natural history museum at 7th and wells in downtown Milwaukee plus Milwaukee has skywalks where you walk a large portion of downtown Milwaukee without having to cross streets or be in the elements and still see the city unlike those underground tunnels in Houston. Also in downtown Milwaukee you have all the water street pubs, so you may want to check out that area. In addition to lake Michigan there are many lakes in outlying area that should be good for swimming in and picnics, Mayfair Mall is probably Milwaukee’s best but Brookfield square is nice and southridge is the biggest, in the north shore area along I43 and silver spring Dr is Bayshore and if you live in southern California like me you will see most of the familiar names like Trader Joes, LA Fitness, California Pizza Kitchen Barnes & Noble… plus futher down Port Washington RD is Kopps frozen custard. A Milwaukee favorite along with George Webbs and Ma Fishers , home of the 6 scoop cone and 1lb hamburger or cheeseburger they have regular flavors of custard and flavors that change all month and really neat fiberglass cows behind the building and 2 miles north is the north shore library where they have public access computer where you can get on a open computer without the 3rd degree like in some places or most of southern California particularly Los Angeles where you only get 15 minutes.
Now looking up these places makes want go back and eat.
