I would like to visit Kathmandu in Napal.

I would like to spin some of the large prayer wheels and see the Himalayan Mountains.

There is something about the unique terrain and spiritual energy that would make it a very peaceful journey for me.

What you will most enjoy in Japan, do you know?

Their politeness.
I think they are most polite and civilized country of the world. They also too much hard worker.

Their houses are so different from all the country of the world. Really different to get saved from earth quack.

That is a terrible stereotype that you put up here. Chinatown is not the "most effective" way to get Asian experience. As a Chinese American I find your remark to be borderline offensive.

Don't be so quick to take offense. If China Town doesn't represent Chinese Americans take it up with the city. At least the answerer is interested.

A more "enlightened" approach might be to offer alternatives rather than ridicule, yes?

Is there nowhere in the USA that someone can go to get an Asian experience you approve of? Help a brother out here. We're all pink and bloody on the inside, drawing lines in the sand is so "last civil rights movement" these days.

Having been to Beijing twice, I absolutely second this suggestion. Beijing is one of the most accessible Asian cities, where you can still witness the chinese greatness of the empire ages. Tip: Watch 'The Last Emperor' by Bernardo Bertolucci before you go, and when you are there, walk! Many locations are easily reached by foot, and you'll see what living in China is really like.

Make sure you visit a 'Hutong', the old areas of the city.

There are many other great places I'm sure, but this is one that I've always wanted to see.

I will visit Tokyo and also some provinces that still has old structures. Japan has lots of places where their cultural heritage is being well preserved.

Hmm... you guys can visit the Philippines too if you want! Haha! I could tour you around. ^^ Though our country isn't as modern as other countries, we have some great beaches here and many other beautiful places too! :)

He said me, safi do something related ICT in bangladesh and show it to us then apply for this scholarship, I will help you to grant your apply. So I wish if I get success with my portal (I bought domain and hosting just yesterday) then I have 90% confident that I would go japan after finishing college. That means in 2013/14.

This is my country, this is a Asian city. I have ability to visit there. We are some friends are going to travel there for more than 10 days in this city. I think this city is queen of nature but unfortunately Bangladesh not get too much tourist because of their weak steps to attract tourists, low country branding, politics crisis, corruption etc. But if I show you this city here, then you must will ask to me that "can I get companion of you when I will go your dreamy city?" Hahaha

Tokyo for sure. It is both amazing and inspiring, confusing and beautiful.

It's also *very* expensive for a US traveler so make the most of any time you spend there!

DEFINITELY visit the History Museum, it's amazing! And of course Tokyo Disney is cool, but you'll be inspired by the Imperial Palace too!

But the lecturer and professors of this university are one of the wisest and most expert teacher of the world.

If there are tons of abu sayyaf kidnappers here, then I would've been kidnapped and beheaded long long time ago. XD

I'm aware of that group but they're not all over the country. In the city where I'm living, I could go out at night and still go home in one piece. This isn't just happening in the city I'm in but most cities in the Philippines.

Hmm... well... to just say "Asia" is a bit broad.

I think you need to divide it into at least three sectors: East asia, South Asia (i.e. India), and Siberia.

For Asia it's Kyoto.

For south Asia it was Hyderabad.

For Siberia is was Lake Baikal, but if you want to have a blast, and if you know people... Novosibirsk.
