Hmm, defintly take a train ride up one of the mountains

It kind of depends where you go. Basel, Zurich, Geneva, Bern, St. Moritz, Interlaken, they all have their charms and are distinct cities.

Take a look at TripAdvisor, they can break it down for you by city. My cousin lives there, so I had it easy last time I visited because we had a guide who speaks the language (french, Italian, German depending what part of the country you're in), though *most* people speak some English.

Hello! I am from Switzerland and I would love to give you some tips.

The nicest and biggest city in Switzerland is definitely Zurich with its lake and view of the Alps. I would reccomend you see it, it also has the biggest airport in Switzerland. Then for more traditional cities you should see Luzern and ofcourse the capital Bern which have lovely historical centers. For the mountains I have two tips for you, Grindelwald and St. Moritz (as the previous answerer already astonishingly answered).

In Grindelwald you have to see the Jungfraujoch! However there are many other nice mountains and glaciers to see. The village itself does not have too much charm, thats why I would highly recommend you to go see St. Moritz in the Engadin. It is situated in a beautiful valley with several lakes and offers great hiking trips and views. Even if you are not in the mood for hiking you can reach most places with lifts and busses.

There is so much to see in Switzerland even though its so small, for this reason I am only giving you these few tips because I really think they are the greatest places to see. I dont know how much time you have, but feel free to ask me any questions if you need more details or need to know more things. I would love to help you plan more if you need me to.
