Siesta Key, Florida. It has the most wonderful sand that is pearly white and never gets hot. Siesta Key is close to Sarasota so there is a wide variety of things to do, if you get tired of walking on the beach, swimming or collecting the shells that wash up. We even found a small horseshoe crab shell, still whole.

Oh yes, I used to live there and it has by far the prettiest beaches that I have seen anywhere. Pure white sand and wide beaches. Great pictures on your answer, thanks!

Well that all depend on what you like. Typical I enjoy Florida or somewhere hot with an ocean. I am not a big fan of the cold so as long as its warm and has an ocean I'm good!
Go to exotic beaches of Fiji , Carribean Islands , Mauritius , Maldives or Miami
Key West, it the best place to have a tropical vacation and still stay in the US. You can snorkle, fish, visit Hemmingway's Home or the lighthouse during the day and party all night on Duval street. The water in Key West is better than any other place in the US. The best way to get there is to fly to Miami and rent a car, the drive down is the best.
