Dauphin Island is located about 35 miles south of Mobile and has two public beaches. Take AL193 South or AL163 South from I-10. Follow signs for AL193 South/Dauphin Island. Once on the island, take a right onto Bienville Blvd (at the three way stop). The first public beach, which is free, is located on the left just past the red school house. The second public beach ($5 for car and driver, $3 each passenger) is located at the western end of Bienville Blvd.
