Ergonomic book bag with wheels??!!!??

I'm looking for an ERGONOMIC bookbag/backpack with WHEELS. Ergonomic so that when I do wear it, it places the weight where it should be, and with wheels so I have to carry it as infrequently as possible.

Price IS NOT A FACTOR. I'm looking for THE BEST.

Big fat M$2 for whoever finds me the best bag :-)

I've been very happy with a Victorinox bag that I purchased a year ago. The strap is comfortable and well padded and the panel that touches your back does a good job of wicking away moisture to help keep you from getting as sweaty. While my model doesn't have wheels, it was nice enough to immediately make me think of their brand for your question. Here a couple of their models that have wheels:
http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Stonehenge-Monopole-Retractable-Backpack/dp/B001RKH0R8/ref=pd_sbs_a_6
http://www.amazon.com/Victorinox-Emotion-Trek-Pack-Plus/dp/B002CNQFPM/ref=pd_sbs_a_2

The first one is $400, but you did say price is not a factor :)

Prior to that, I carried various JanSport packs throughout much of my time as a student, and I found them to be comfortable with well made zippers. Here's a model that looks good and it gets good reviews from Consumer Research:
http://www.amazon.com/JanSport-Antics-Driver-Wheeled-Backpack/dp/B0007QCRUS/ref=pd_sbs_sg_4
http://www.consumersearch.com/backpacks/rolling-backpacks

Timberland models might do the trick. I have a rolling back pack carry-on style bag by them that I really like, though I'd prefer it if the wheels were a tad larger for rougher terrain. Here is a book bag style version:

http://www.amazon.com/Timberland-Adventure-Trekker-Wheeled-Backpack/dp/B00267SR5A/ref=pd_sbs_b_1

Here is a fabulously rated rolling back pack for $219 and it looks good enough I'm thinking about trying to view one in person:

Here is a brand that I can't vouch for, and it comes in a more traditional back pack look. It's on close out for roughly half price, so you aren't risking much if you don't end up liking it. I'd be suspicious that it won't hold up to prolonged use if it's in that price range, but I could be wrong:

As far as I can tell from the pics and descriptions of the other ones, that cheap one is the only one so far with both wheels and a chest strap. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But kudos for that find!!

I think I get what you mean now and am editing my comment so that I don't side track everyone. You are correct, the models I suggested didn't have a chest strap and there don't seem to be many in existence with wheels, shoulder straps and a chest strap (I couldn't find one).

Since the chest strap seems important to you, perhaps you can modify a readily available pack by adding something like these items to it:

Aha! Here's a 4 star rated one on Amazon with wheels, shoulder straps and a belt/waist strap and since it is intended for camera gear it looks like it may be smaller than the Eagle Creek model you rejected earlier. Hurry, they only have 2 left:

The Eagle Creek Twist $215 seems to be the go to pack for what you need. I found this on the Travel Gear Blog.

"On of the best features of the Eagle Creek Twist Wheeled Backpack is its backpacking harness system. The backpack straps on the Eagle Creek Twist Wheeled Backpack aren’t sub-par straps that seem like they have been put there just so they can say the carry on can be converted to a backpack. These are high quality shoulder straps that are comfortable and supportive. The Eagle Creek Twist Wheeled Backpack also features an internal curved frame and padded hip belt. How many other backpack style carry bags have that kind of support?"

Check out the rest of the post here, along with a link to shop on Amazon.

That's a pretty good one. I'm looking for something more for school, so I think this one is a little too big. I'd like one close to regular high school sized with wide padded straps, and also either a chest strap or a waist strap (or both).

The smaller sizes are probably better for me. I didn't know they existed. I like them better, but I still want either a chest strap or waist strap to get the weight on my neck better distributed.

I think these bags had a good idea in mind when they were invented but thats about it. Try asking any highschool student if they will carry this bag or even some college students. They would say no way! The bag is so uncool and has nothing cool about it. Those are the students that will have enough books and stuff to put in it. The elementray students dont carry as much stuff and will never need it.

I'm well past high school. Thanks for the coolness tip though.

I am sorry I guess I did not understand your question. I would agree who cares about coolness as an adult. We should be more worried about the stress the weight is doing to our backs. I think these bags are great for adults.

The Tumi wheeled backpack is well padded on the back and has nicely shaped shoulder straps. Tumi is a high quality luggage manufacturer. Tumi's products are made to last. Here is one model I found on the ebags site:

http://www.ebags.com/tumi/wheeled_carry_on_backpack/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=116911

There are several views of the backpack, so you can get a good look at all the features. The Tumi is currently on sale. I like the fact that the inside of the backpack is lined in bright yellow. Makes it very easy to find things.

If the Tumi doesn't suit your needs, there are dozens of other wheeled backpacks to choose from.

That one is a really good one too, and good on the price range. If it had the waist strap or chest strap I'd totally go for it.
