9. Monty Python's Life of Brian - if for absolutely no other reason, because of the ending song, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Your Life" (see video below!)
8. Death at a Funeral - a dark farce with a lot of laughs, great evening rental
7. Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit - no one can make you chuckle and bob your head like Wallace & Gromit, combine that with the antics of veg-chompin' bunnies, and you've got yourself a new Halloween classic.
6. Keeping Up Appearances - that's pronounced boo-kayy, dear.
5. A Fish Called Wanda - I still can't decide whose better in this movie: Kevin Kline or John Cleese. I still quote this movie most days.
4. Monty Python's The Meaning of Life - because sometimes you need just a *wafer-thin mint*.
3. Snatch - This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite movies of all-time
2. The Fully Monty - How can you not start dancing a little, especially when the dejected men are all standing in line and hear the music start up. Clever, honest, and enjoyable.
1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Hands-down one of the funniest movies of all-time. From start to finish the whole movie is off-kilter silly fun. Nee!

I love British comedy, no one makes me laugh like they do. I have a (legal) copy of every one of these, and more. Although they are all on video tape - I really must get them on DVD, not quite so much clutter then.
I include my favorite scene from a British TV show called Black Adder, now this is "really" my all time favorite comedy!

M$You have listed some of my favourites too. And I just love Blackadder, my all time favourite comedy show too. Love Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Laurie. Everyone on Blackadder was just perfect.
I just remembered the lines from A fish called Wanda where Wanda tells Archie about how stupid Otto was.
"He thought that the Gettysburg Address
was where Lincoln lived."
"And when he heard
your daughter's called Portia,
he said 'Why did
they name her after a car? "
Classic! Couldn't find the clip online.
