Tom Chatfield talks about 7 ways video games engage the brain. Which ones does Mahalo currently use and which new ones could be incorporated
I see that "badges" as satisfying 1,2 and 3. Answers and tipping involve 7 other people. I would like to see some kind of way to collaborate in answering a question or real world problem, and somehow have the rewards structured so that everyone can feel motivated to contribute. The video also mentions that $8 billion is spend buying virtual stuff within gaming systems. I wonder what Mahalo could offer?
